The Group headed by Electronics Aerospace was founded in Caserta in the eighties by an intuition of the businessman Agostino Feola. In the first phase of its existence, the Group’s core business consists of the production of electrical and electronic equipment on behalf of Selex Integrated Systems, Elmer, Selenia and Magnavox.

Subsequently, the Group acquired skills in the assembly of electro-avionic harnesses, first on behalf of Agusta Westland for the B212 and AW129 programs and then on behalf of Officine Aeronavali Venezia, participating in the overhaul of G222s owned by Italian Air Force. The experience gained in this field allowed, almost ten years later, to independently manage the reconfiguration of G222s owned by Nigerian Air Force and those included in the United States Air Force fleet employed in Afghanistan.

The cooperation with Officine Aeronavali Venezia allowed the Group to enter the world of aeronautical overhauls. In the first ten years were acquired skills and capability to overhaul, repair and test more than 300 part numbers for G222, B707 and C130H programs.

Nowadays the Group boast more than thirty years of experience in aeronautics and a direct and active cooperation with Leonardo Spa in the AMX, A109, AW139 programs.

The performed activities are supported by a wide range of equipment, automatic machines, test sets and electronic instruments calibrated in authorized reference centers and they are also assisted by the company IT system that operates on the intranet and the internet also via SAP platform.

Measurement and control systems are fully automated and remotely managed via distributed I/O, data acquisition and field-bus, which makes operations extremely reliable, secure and traceable.
